I am looking for a recipe to make snacks using fruit peels of apples and jello? I was told there was a way to make snacks of fruit with skins that remain to be resolved when using Pampered Chef apple peeler corer and jello? Knows? Thank you!
I am engaged. I have been looking for this recipe for a while and does not come with snacks using the skin. What I did was found:
Candied apples
Peel and slice an apple (red works best), sprinkle with strawberry Jell-O or cherry, or try another type of Jell-O. Sometimes my children simply enjoy dipping apple slices in the Jell-O.
I guess on that last comment, you can soak the skins in Jell-O as well. You can also dredge the peel of Jell-O and dehydrate them, either in an oven or a food dehydration slow. Sounds good to me!

Hold the presses! I think I've found (and not so different from my suggestion dryer above):
Gummy Worms homemade!

The Bottom Line Oooo! Worms?!?! Yes, worms delicious!
By popular demand, I am posting a recipe I was given from unknown sources on how to make gummy worms home. In response to my review of the Pampered Chef Apple Peeler / corer / slicer, and what to do with leftover apple peel.
So without further ado ...
"Gummy Worms"
After peeling the apple peeler slicer corer with Apple to throw the peels in a wet bag and pour into zip your favorite flavor of jello DRY (do not use unsweetened). Stir until well coated barks.
them on a flat stone and bake at 250 degrees for 30-45 minutes (depending on the amount of skin).
I also heard that you only need to bake for 15-20 minutes.
I intend to make some soon, I'll let you know how it goes for me. If you try it, let me know how it happens to you, and I'll add to this review!
Good luck, and peel apples increasingly eating worms!
