Baking With Soy Milki can substitute butter for soy milk in cooking if ...?

I'm already substituting eggs in cake recipe with soy milk! Would it be possible to replace the butter with the soy milk as well? If this is not what I can use?

It seems that you think soy milk is a kind of magical compound.

1. Eggs should be replaced by something sticky, like oil, mashed bananas, yogurt, applesauce or flax seeds soaked in a little water. The purpose of an egg in a recipe is to link the ingredients together. Soy milk does not bind anything.

2. Butter is there for the rich flavor, but also serves other functions. Butter creates laminated, and it gives a flavor, tenderness, freshness and a golden brown color to many foods. When used in cookies makes it spread less than if margarine is used and gives the cookies a lighter texture and richer flavor. You can see that the soy milk will not help in one of these things.

no butter does not sustitute with soy milk ... If you want to replace the butter using low fat margarine

Never heard of people replacing eggs with soy milk. You can replace butter extra virgin olive oil. Its healthier anyway.

Fats and oils can be replaced by Apple. It is a popular trick of cooking low-fat.
