What is the plan for post op bariatric surgery? I know that for a week or two, it is clear liquid, but looks like the diet, as a result?
Depends on the order of physicians, but usually after clear liquids, soft food, then some solids. You can usually eat whatever you want, but you can find some food does not agree with you after surgery. The main things many small meals, not just over 3 per day. And you can not drink liquids while you eat. not enough room in the stomach more.
In my case liquids for 2 weeks, after two weeks of soft food (pure) and after 6 months, except as follows: maize (the stomach does not deal with this diet) and alcohol. Also the juice as orange juice and lemonade are too acidic for the first month. Ask your doctor to consult a nutritionist. For me, the nutritionist is a mandatory element before and after surgery.
