Question of breast milk storage? I pumped some milk yesterday, and put into a cooler. When I opened the refrigerator four hours later, it was not colder. I put in the refrigerator immediately.
Medela guidelines storage of breast milk that you can leave the milk at room temperature for 4 hours. But then, did you throw? Or can I put in the refrigerator and foods that a few days late?
If you answer, please cite your source, because I can not find an answer with a good source. If I can not get a good response I'll just lose my breast milk, I would not do, but better safe than sorry. Thank you!
I have always used these guidelines when storing breast milk. I would say that after four hours, it will always be allowed to be stored in a refrigerator.

OK
The best thing to do is put the milk in the refrigerator immediately after the speech.
Once you want to feed the baby warm, baby feed and all that is left can not be returned to the refrigerator!
If you have too much milk, you can also freeze!
If you forget to put fresh milk in the refrigerator for 4 hours you can not use it more!
Thank you for the thumbs down, really feels good when I'm really trying to help.
I used these guidelines and my baby never got sick and he was very premature.
I do not care who thinks, using milk, for example, in the heat of the summer after four hours, so for me is unthinkable!
I do not want to give my child.
