I saw that they sell online so I just wonder if it is legal to buy online? I live in Montana and next month a pound of tobacco up to $ 45 a pound. right now the book is $ 20 for anyone who has bought online first? where a good site to buy? Thank you.

Yes - the excise taxes will be applied, but not state sales taxes on cigarettes of the thing.

Yes. It is legal.

But .... * YOU * are responsible for paying sales and use taxes states when you buy tobacco outside the state. Many online stores do not say that - especially the reservation.

There have been several cases where stores Indian cigarettes were served with subpoenas for their records of sales of various State tax agencies, and gave up. The government will have after the buyers for tax evasion. Some VERY LARGE fines and assessments of tax refunds have been received, so be warned.
