Childrens Yoghurts

Childrens YoghurtsPro-Biotics baby - Did you give them?

My daughter is 17 months (or almost). She is on antibiotics for an ear infection and chest now. Would probiotics be beneficial for her?

And if so, can I give him drink Actimel and Activia yogurt regularly or is it children probiotics?

My doctor told me to give my daughter probiotic regularly as she had a recurrent urinary tract infection - it was about 14 months when she started. I offered Yakult, which it will have the opportunity, but she prefers flavored yogurt drinks. They are fine for babies, and will certainly help to infections.

There are formulas for infants with probiotics. What Ive read on the site Activia is, I believe they recommend two years, but when I watched the pro-biotic supplements, on a site called Vita-cost, I think it was as safe for infants. CNN just had a piece of their parents or parents magazine too, which I think he said safe for infants. If I can find it, repost sick.

Probiotics are exceptionally safe for children and most doctors recommend them. You can either use food or pills (or half of the adult pill, powder is mild and most children like him) or pills for kids (that dissolve and do not require refrigeration)

While on antibiotics, a person must take a "probiotic". Antibiotics kill all bacteria in your gut, and you get diarrhea, cramps, bloating. Acidophilus (or other probiotics) will help replace the good bacteria. There is also a very effective treatment against diarrhea caused by the "stomach flu". Acidophilus is found in yogurt, but most containers do not tell you how. I prefer to take the acidophilus capsules. For children, you can get liquid, powder or chewable versions. Most good health food stores will carry this.

Yes, probiotics are great to have in your life. My son has mild eczema and an empty capsule in the cup or with a meal has helped many. Probiotics also help regulate, help fight against yeast, and improve overall health. I take 3 capsules with yogurt with probiotics.

Yes - it is a pro-biotic children. I do not remember the name of the hand ... but go to your pharmacy and the pharmacist - he or she will know. It is expensive but.
My son is horrible diarrhea with antibiotics and it helps a bit (not completely). But it's better than nothing.
Good luck!

Ask your pediatrician! Never take your child's health in your own hands.
