Chocolate Muffin Mix

I need to send a snack for my entire class and Childs was nut allergies. Does anyone know if Quaker Oats muffin mix is free of nuts? The package says nothing about nuts, and no list of ingredients, but I just want to be sure.

If there is nothing written, then it is most likely safe. However, try to call the 800 number on the packaging to be sure.

I phoned the Canadian division, and they think the muffin mix is made in a nut free facility. Glad to know for next time. Report Abuse

My little son has nut allergies and the plant in Canada has been transformed into a plant nut free. This is the only way I know how to get them. I work in a grocery store and talked to my representative Quaker and they do not even know that Quaker had such a plant. Report Abuse

I would not trust the muffin mix. From Quaker Oats makes items with nuts, granola mainly. In general, companies use the same factory to make all their products. At the restaurant I work at we will not use pasta or mixtures which are prefabricated of a person other than us.
