How long does it take a cigarette to dissolve into the earth? I often wonder how long it would take, as I believe I said some time ago that it was in the area 10 years before completely broke down, but I wanted to know if there was no scientific evidence what is?
Would be nice if they also announced on packaging disposal of cigarettes too:)
Thank you for your time to answer:)

Tobacco will soon enough (depending on soil conditions), the paper takes a little longer, but a filter can take an eternity.
The real part of tobacco smoking is not long at all, it's the filters that are resistance to break. Honestly, I do not know how long they take to decompose.
about 15 years in the sea I know that
