MarketplaceCoffee CleansePosted on February 12, 2010. How well do clean coffee filters in the water? what do they also remove it before installing the brewing? They just get the big pieces! As far as I am aware, coffee filters do nothing to water. Their goal is to allow water to percolate through the coffee for flavor. The filter stops the ground to make the brew. they dont ..... the only thing a coffee filter only filters the reason ..... The filters do not clean ... they filter. That means they remove particles of debris that are too large to pass through their membranes. To clean the water, you need a type of chemical action or distillation apparatus. coffee filters have clean water, they allow water to drip through the coffee without mixing with the coffee .. assumed that the water you use is clean. A coffee filter does not "clean" the water of fairly large particles, such as coffee grounds or sand. They will not stop chemicals, etc. CommentsThere are no comments.Leave a Comment | Popular Posts My Friends |
