Groceries Delivered To Your Door

Posted on March 31, 2010.
Groceries Delivered To Your DoorHow much would you pay for your groceries delivered fresh to your door?

If there was a delivery service in your area, what would you pay for purchases in someone with your grocery list and provide this list to your door at a specific time?

For example, the Smith family who works, has no time and no need to headache care of their children in school than having to spend two hours at Wal-Mart before to go home and cook and clean. When the head on the pillow the alarm for another day. Would the benefit of the Smith family from a delivery service?

The delivery service would receive a list and set up a time to deliver their groceries to their door at their convenience. How do you think it would be worth to someone?

When replying please use a scale of reference, for example: $ 300.00 worth of groceries for the week I pay???

Thank you for your comments!

Nothing. I want at the grocery store for me. I get the box of cereal unsmushed and products to my satisfaction. I like meat to look a certain way. I also picked up last minute items that look good because I am hungry or simply because I see they are on sale!

Sorry. I would not pay for this service.

People who are super busy or hate this job can pay, but those who are picky about their food would probably not. Maybe you could charge them a percentage of their grocery bill (perhaps 10-15%) because obviously a longer list that will cost more over time. Add a load of flat on the gas bill is based on "zones" you create based on the distance of the business (or home) location.

I thought about trying to do something like that in my city. I always thought that 10% would be a fair price as a minimum of ten dollars if someone does not hire you to go buy $ 10 of groceries and you pay $ 1.00

For $ 75 of groceries, I pay $ 5 more a tip to the driver. You will find, however, that any company could get as competition in the grocery stores more and more "climb" service where you can order online, then the grocery store just tell them where you are coming up - they go out and put them in your car. It is pretty cool. I think there is a small charge for the service, but not great.
