Looking for a recipe for waffle house well? My husband said: "I have not had waffles in ages!" (After I made some from the box!) LOL .... I would give it a good waffle house experience .. ..
Please give me your best recipes ... simple or not so simple.
These our our favorite! It's the only thing (aside eggs), my husband cooks and they are awesome!
INGREDIENTS
* 2 cups all purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 4 v. teaspoon baking powder
* 2 tablespoons white sugar
* 2 eggs
* 1 1 / 2 cups hot milk
* 1 / 3 cup melted butter
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
MODE
1. In a large bowl, stir together flour, salt, yeast and sugar and set aside. Preheat waffle iron to desired temperature.
2. In another bowl, beat eggs. Add milk, butter and vanilla. Pour milk mixture into flour mixture and beat until smooth.
3. Pour batter into preheated waffle iron. Cook the waffles until golden and crisp. Serve immediately.
The only thing we change is that we use whole wheat flour. Always delicious!

i love waffles waffles I named my dig .. hehehehhahaha
Edit: I also think u would like this recipe for blueberry syrup as a topping for waffles.
1-1/2 pounds of blueberries, lightly rinsed
2 cups sugar
1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise (vanilla extract can also be used 2 tsp)
3 / 4 cup water
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Combine blueberries and sugar into a large saucepan. Mix gently with a spatula to mix, then the vanilla bean paste in the center or mix with vanilla.
Add water and lemon juice to the blueberry mixture and bring to a boil over high heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat slightly and simmer, skimming foam that rises to the surface, until the mixture begins to thicken, about 15 minutes.
Remove from heat and strain through a fine strainer. Cool room temperature and refrigerate, sealed until ready to serve.
Because the amount of added sugar in blueberries acts as a natural preservative, the syrup will keep, covered and refrigerated for up to two months. He is a super-special trim for waffles, pancakes, French toast and, as well as sundaes.
Grandma's Fluffy pancakes or waffles (passed to me from my father's mother)

4 c. teaspoon baking powder
2 v. teaspoon salt
Add 2 cups cold milk (or 2% is best)
2 egg yolks
put that aside.
