This prompted me to start putting in extra work and clip coupons. We just purchased a freezer a month ago and have been gradually filling. but this has really opened my eyes. Try couponmom.com. You can type in the grocery store (s) you are using and they will tell you what is in store this week. For example, if the store has a sale of 2:1, they will tell you. You can select what you're interested, then print a shopping list for items. I think it's easier than printing coupons endless. (Not to mention that you do not have to worry about using the printer from your employer to print coupons.)

Costco has the best prices in town, although sometimes the sales in grocery stores are essentially the same. Next - Walmart. Try these instead of spending time clipping coupons.

Buy generic products. They are often made by the manufacturers as well as name-brands and they are much cheaper. The quality is generally similar.

For your freezer: I bought a hand vacuum pump to the grocery store (for Ziploc, Glad similar), 2 for $ 5. They use special bags which are not cheap, but they are easy to use.
