Hot Sandwich Recipes

My favorite is capacola hot brown sugar or maple ham, Genoa salami, turkey breast buffalo, Vermont cheddar or New York, a Nice dark, multi-grain bread. Mayo and sweet honey mustard ......... make sure you put mustard on the side of bread with turkey. Oh, and remember half sour garlic pickles .........

I am personally very fond of a very slightly "upscale" version of a BLT.

marbled rye bread, lightly toasted and smeared with cream cheese. Top of crisp bacon, tomato and alfalfa sprouts. Yum

Egg Salad
INGREDIENTS
8 eggs
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
2 tablespoons prepared Dijon-style mustard
1 teaspoon dried dill
1 teaspoon paprika
1 / 2 red onion, minced
Salt and pepper
MODE
Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring water to a boil, cover, remove from heat and let the eggs are in hot water for 10-12 minutes. Remove from hot water, let cool, peel and chop.
In a large bowl, combine eggs, mayonnaise, mustard, dill, paprika, onion and salt and pepper. Mash well with a fork or wooden spoon.
Serve on bread as a sandwich or on lettuce as a crunchy salad.


Hearty sandwiches Ham
INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 tablespoon chopped onion
8 slices rye bread or sourdough
8 slices cooked ham
4 slices Swiss cheese
MODE
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, horseradish, mustard and onion and mix well. Spread over four slices of bread. Layer with ham and cheese, top with remaining bread.

A couple of slices of roast beef, a slice of cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, avocado slices, a little spicy mustard and salt and pepper on all the bread you prefer. I like wheat bread or wheat hoagie bun.

French Toast
Shredded chicken breast (chicken can be used cannned)
Marinara Sauce
Parmesan

Toast bread and cut and add the chicken, sauce and cheese - Return to oven and bake for about 3-5 minutes more

Turkey sandwich-in-the-Round

Ingredients
1 loaf (about 24 ounces) Italian bread Around

1 / 2 cup MIRACLE WHIP Salad Dressing

3 lettuce leaves

1 tomato slices

1 pkg. (5.5 oz) LOUIS RICH Oven Chopping Roasted Turkey Breast

4 slices Kraft Swiss cheese, halved


Preparation
Cut bread in half horizontally. Spread cut sides of bread with salad dressing.

TOP bottom half of bread with lettuce, tomato, turkey and cheese. Cover with top half of bread. Cut into wedges.
