Humidor Solution

Posted on March 28, 2010.
Humidor SolutionHow big of a difference humidor solution no longer distilled water?

Since I bought my cellar, I struggled to maintain the humidity. I realize it may be faulty, but I'm stubborn.

I only used distilled water in the humidifier so ... the size of a difference does it make to use a typical cellar solution instead of distilled water?

Trying to protect these precious puros!

It makes a huge difference. . . "The solution Humidor" is usually a mixture
50% propylene glycol and 50% distilled water. The glycol is a good
more effective than regular water wetting, and help keep your
humidor much more stable.
