King Arthur Flour

King Arthur FlourChampagne cake

I found a great recipe for champagne cake when I was searching the Internet the other day. I usually do boxed mix and add ingredients to them for spices, but I decided to live on the edge and try to make a cake from scratch. So my husband and I do not drink, but received a bottle of champagne as a gift and did not know what to do with it, so we found a recipe for this cake champagne.

He uses cake flour, I used King Arthur unbleached cake flour for this recipe, 6 white eggs, which I separated myself instead of using egg white powder, champagne, sugar and other ingredients (see list on the link below).

It was fairly simple to cook, and my husband and I loved the recipe. I wore a butter frosting from scratch as well. There is something to be said for making cakes from scratch. They taste sweet and light, and so tasty. It is certainly one of those recipes I'm going out for parties and special occasions. This is not the last time my family had this cake. I'll definitely do it again!

Do not get me wrong, I like the comfort of cake mix box, but I became a fan of making cakes from scratch too.

Recipe is below, the author of the article Bio

I hope you and your family and friends enjoyed this recipe as my husband and me.

Thank you!

Allow me know how your cake turned out!
