Eating low fat, low-Cal did not have to be boring Sticking to a diet is never easy. Not even mention the word diet, and what usually comes to mind is nibbling carrot sticks and celery, and usually a bland diet calories low and boring. Well, we've come a long way in the system, and I can tell you from personal experience after losing more than ten pounds on a diet of other schemes that should not be boring to eat food and deprivation.
You can eat very good, good food while dieting, you just know how to shop and how to get the most benefit from your food calories, which means picking foods that give you more large portions for the lowest in calories. For example, a cup of broccoli while only about 45 calories. Make yourself a nice, low fat cheese sauce low cal fat free cheddar cheese, milk and a little flour, and you have yourself a great tasting, low calorie dish to go with your serving of protein as meat.
Or you can try to make little balls of fat turkey. Here's a trick you do not know. Look for 99% fat free turkey breast instead of 95% or less. You save a load of calories with only those few percentage points, which is something many people do not know. Many people also do not know that ground turkey several times, if not 98-99% fat free, is roughly the same amount of fat and calories than beef, so you really are not saving as much as you think if you buy the bad guy from Turkey.
Breadcrumbs come in a variety low in carbohydrates, so if you watch your carbs you can get these up, or just use regular bread crumbs that come prepackaged, the amount of carbohydrates they add does not make or break you. Instead of using a whole egg, egg whites only to hold the meat together.
The rest is just the seasoning to your taste. You can combine these with a nice marinara sauce low in calories and fat free mozzarella cheese. Free fatty cheese, certainly not taste as good as low fat, but you save almost half the calories from fat-free, and you will eventually acquire a taste for it.
When shopping for chicken breast, make sure you do not go for the breasts super firms which are often packaged in large family size packages of chicken breast, but instead opt for smaller parties that have the air to be perhaps 5-7 ounces instead of 10 oz. One of my favorite entrees is chicken breast because it is versatile.
One night, you can make a marinade with an Asian flavor with white vinegar, a little sesame oil, water, and Asian or Thai spices of your choice, and the next you can make a marinade that has a south-westerly with spicy olive oil, white vinegar, water and Southwest seasoning or spicy. The possibilities are endless and so the chicken remains one of the favorites in the menu system. Moreover, it tastes great if you always prepare properly.
Breakfast is a breeze. It is very easy for me to eat low fat for breakfast, especially because I love how it gives me energy and sustains me for a few hours rather than burn faster than many Breakfast carbed-up like bagels, danishes and muffins can do. The breakfast is very simple. It is a low-fat vanilla yogurt, low calorie, my favorite is Dannon Light and Fit Vanilla because it is lowest in calories per ounce for ounce, berries, sliced almonds and a chicken sausage.
The total number of calories that is about 400-450. I start the day with a meal more calories than breakfast, I believe, the most important meal of the day. It raises the bar on your appetite and energy levels for the rest of the day, and I think if you load on nutrition and food meet at breakfast, you're less likely to hog the course.
