Mccann's Irish Oats

I have a box of oatmeal McCann's Steel-Cut Irish, would I be able to use them for basic oatmeal cookies?

No, not work cut oats in cookies --- it will be difficult to remove from the oven.

No. The cut oats are much too hard to make biscuits.
They will not absorb moisture like oats do.
