How do I cook this horse meat? I horsemeat 100 oz, a gift from my grandmother, but I do not know what to do with it.

Horse meat is another type of fat in meat products, beef and pork together. Look at your cup (s) and whether they have a lot of fat layer or a little. Watch and marbling.
For the well-marbled meat with a fat pad grid is fine. Best cooked med. rare but not more than average. I recommend a pan to catch grease and then rub it back on meat to prevent it from drying out.
For cuts with little fat, frying pan is better. Treat it as if it were a game or cut the calf.
If there is a bone in the roast beef would be easier. Roast the meat can be a pain if avoided. Try using fresh herbs.
Unlike beef, pork and other meat trade, horse meat is very variable. You can never be sure if you have a good piece up this taste. Depending on where the meat comes from you can be good or bad.
