Milk Protein Isolate

Posted on March 27, 2010.
Milk Protein IsolateIs chocolate milk after a workout for me better than whey protein isolate?

I recently heard that milk chocolate is the absolute best thing you can have after a workout. I'm 16 and I wonder if this is true. I already take whey isolate after my workouts, but I want to know if the milk chocolate is better.

Whey protein is best (nothing is absorbed more quickly) and, since milk protein is only about 20% whey ... protein isolate (90%) will be much better for your muscles.

Recently I read the same thing in the Men's Fitness magazine September 2008 edition, check it out. Chocolate milk is the right balance of carbohydrates and protein for rapid recovery after workouts. But you can get the same effect by adding your own Nesquik milk and eventually your whey shake.

Uh, who told you that he is an idiot all.
Think about it ... protein to help repair your muscles you've just broken or sweet shit that does nothing for your body, that is except the milk part of it.

Knowing who is the best?

Yeah, I stick with the protein

Chocolate milk is never good for you.

I doubt it becuz I heard that depending on how it is done a little milk chocolate may actually have more sugar in it than soda.

No, go to the whey protein?

stick to whey protein!
