Montecristo Cigars

Posted on February 9, 2010.
Montecristo CigarsMontecristo cigars are illegal and if so, why do cigar shops to sell?

There are two Montecristo cigars, in Cuba it was produced by state ownership, the company Habanos. And, the second largest producer, Altadis, which is made in La Romana, Dominican Republic. This is more than likely the one you see in stores, as U.S. trade embargo on Cuba again.

Most cigars are based on Cuba is a brand of product elsewhere (Dominican Republic or Nicaragua). Cohibas are based on Cuba (Castro loved to smoke), but in the States which are Cohibas Republic Dominican.
