In recent weeks, customers of Crescent Ridge Dairy Bar in at 176 South Franklin Street (Route 37) in Holbrook could only dream of playing a round of miniature golf before or after enjoying one of 10 best in the world Ice creams, ranked by National Geographic "10 Best of Everything: The Best ultimate all." On May 3, the waiting ended as Crescent Ridge Dairy has opened the Mini Putt-Putt Golf for spring, summer and fall.
Crescent Ridge Dairy Mini Putt-Putt will be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 11:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Mini Putt-Putt will be open seven days a week from June 1st.
"Mini Putt-Putt was a great success with our clients and played a large role in Crescent Ridge Dairy establish a presence at our new location in Holbrook," said Mark Parrish, president and third generation of the Parrish family run Crescent Ridge Dairy Red. "Last year we did not get the dairy bar operational until August, so we are very pleased to have both Dairy Bar and Mini Putt-Putt fully operational throughout the season. "
In addition to the mini-golf from nine holes, the "Dairy Bar" serves dairy Crescent Ridge 31 flavors of ice cream and five flavors of frozen yogurt as a way to cool down after a round on the links. The bar also offers dairy products through training and counter service and selling shakes, ice cream cakes, sundaes, pies, all of Crescent Ridge Dairy, 1%, 2% and non fat milk, eggs, juice and hot dogs steamed.
At the opening at its new location in Holbrook last year, Crescent Ridge Dairy has become active in several charities in the local community. This trend will continue in the second season.
"We would like the Mini Putt-Putt available to nonprofit organizations and other charities in search of another type of event to raise funds," said Parrish. "What better way to raise funds for your cause by making a mini-golf tournament and Cream Topping off our world renowned ice?
