Are oats safe for you when you are trying to diet? I'm currently on a diet, and every morning I eat about 1 / 2 to 1 cup of oatmeal with a banana, Rasin, and very little milk. I know that oats have a lot of calories. So my question is, are good to eat oatmeal when you try to lose weight because they are really healthy for you, or is it simply because they have too many calories.

Try steel cut oats.
Just because there are calorie dense, does not mean it's a bad thing, in this case since it is the breakfast is great!
Try this breakfast to make you more balanced diet of nutrients / foodgroups and keep you fuller with higher doses of protein / fiber.
3/4- 1 cup steel cut oats made with 250 ml of milk with a banana chopped, 1 / 4 cup raisins and 2 tablespoons Tea Nuts / seeds (or 1 tablespoon of crunchy peanut butter stirred in natural)

What is the purpose of your diet?
If it is to lose weight, so be aware of the fact that oats are loaded with carbohydrates.
Oats are healthy, many vitamins and minerals. One of my favorites to make such refeeds and because they are good complex carbohydrates.
But really, if your diet is not for swelling and muscle instead of fat loss and limit the carbohydrates that could improve fat loss.
Now, if your in a calorie DEFC then you will lose weight, no matter what. However, if you restrict carbohydrates a little, you can maximize that fuel the body burns energy and in this case it would be fat (assuming your savings to eat enough protein and that of your diet) .

Oats are one of the best things to have when you are in the plan. They are loaded with fiber that will not only your digestive tract, but also help you feel full longer prevent overeating. If you eat late at night the heat could have a negative effect, but have them in the morning start your metabolism. Keep up the good work! <3
