Taking a cruise, even the mention of it is fun and relaxing. You can cruise around the world, the Mediterranean, Baltic Sea, you can cruise to Alaska. If you live near Florida you are very lucky with Key West and throughout the Caribbean. We have two of the largest cruise ports in Cape Canaveral and Ft Lauderdale, you can also cruise from Miami.

If you've never been on a cruise I highly recommend you intend to go as soon as you can. These days cruise ships are like small, or should I say big cities with bridges and floating bridges of things to do and see. The typical cruise ship has many amenities. The gyms have all the bikes and weights, but now there are days of saunas, steam rooms and all the yoga class or you can think of Pilate. Day spas offer massages chemical peeling, and mud baths. If you prefer to shop you can find something tourism t-shirts and cups of boutiques that have high-end fashion, perfume and jewelry brand fabulous, often at reduced prices, many ships' stores alcohol and too full most of the time there is no tax, but you must declare what you bought when you come through customs so keep that in mind too.

There are so many things to do when you cruise too and while relaxing at the pool is nice, there are always ongoing activities. All ships offer Broadway-type shows and most of Vegas style casino with the usual blackjack, craps, roulette, slot machines, all types of poker and sometimes you can get your hands on a tournament like Texas Hold 'em or five card stud. Some karaoke bars, piano bars, duel, comedy, or if you are not in the mood for a crowd they come Nice relaxing piano bars or cigar bars where you can meet people and discuss any sipping wine or an after dinner cordial.

One of my favorite passages from the cruise is the food. You can get what you want at any time of day and night. When I was on my cruise we were there in the casino, enjoying the slot machines, there was this wonderful person walking in the service of those huge chocolate covered strawberries and it was midnight. Dinner on a cruise ship is not just a meal is an event.
