Arturo Fuente, cigar manufacturer Arturo Fuente story begins in 1912 when the young Arturo Fuente opened the A. Cigar Company in Ybor City section of Tampa, the manufacture of cigars imported Cuban tobacco.
The factory burned in 1924, leaving Arturo straights mean financially.
