I was wondering if it safe to make your own yogurt with Stonyfield Farms input? or is it safe to buy Stonyfield Farms? I was told that active cultures will die by the time of purchase of yogurt in the store, so that when you yourself, when you eat, active cultures will peak. Thank you I have been making my own yogurt since 1980. I bought a machine with plain yogurt containers of 8 - 1 / 2 cup and follow the instructions.
