Rice Crispy Square Recipe

Does anyone have a recipe for marshmallow squares crispy rice, or something similar. I'm really in the flat at the moment and I would make my own since I like to Kellogg's. Any help would be appreciated and we thank you in advance.

Rice Krispies Treats ...=)

# 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
# 1 package (10 ounces, about 40) regular marshmallows
# - OR -
# 4 cups miniature marshmallows
# 6 cups Rice Krispies ®

1. In a large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
2. Add KELLOGG'S Rice Krispies. Toss to coat.

3. Using a spatula or wax paper evenly press mixture into buttered 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan sprayed with cooking spray. Cool. Cut into squares of 2 inches. Best if served the same day.


Microwave:
In a bowl the butter in the microwave heat and marshmallows at HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Blend until smooth. Follow steps 2 and 3 above. Cooking times may vary microwave.

For best results, use fresh marshmallows.
1 jar (7 ounces) marshmallow cream may be substituted for marshmallows.
Diet, reduced calorie or margarine not recommended.
Store no more than two days at room temperature in an airtight container. To freeze, put in layers separated by waxed paper in an airtight container. Freeze for 6 weeks. Let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving.

Rice Krispies BREAN'S PLACES

1 / 4 butter
3 cups marshmallows
4 cups Rice Krispies

Melt butter and marshmallow together and add Rice Krispies. Remove from heat. Stir until well coated Rice Krispies are. Use a 9x9 inch pan. Cool, then cut.
