Soy Protein FoodsMay cause constipation soy milk? Which are the effects of drinking too much soy? Food constipation helping whom?

I have bad constipation and bowel problems, and I am also lactose intollerant (milk, my constipation worse), so I drank 4 glasses of soy milk a day, eat soy cheese, and drink a glass of soy protein. Is that too much soy, and does cause constipation soy? I take magnesium and miralax for constipation, but what foods can help constipation (outside prunes)?

Soy milk / products could, because he has a lot of protein it contains. Try All-Bran Buds in the morning with some of your soy milk, and try to drink lots of water too.

Hey, I'm sorry I have not had a chance to answer this question before, does not depend so heavily soy milk, it is very much estrogen. Drink milk instead of rice, almond or any other kind. Was drinking soy all the time for convenience but I have extremely heavy periods. Arrested and everything was OK in 2-3 mos. Report Abuse

do not eat / drink soy too! My friend is allergic to milk protein so it can not be normal milk, either, but he did not drink soy. It is not always good for you especially at high doses. I no longer drink milk or rice milk and we just drink, almond milk or hemp. It grows on a bit u! :) report abuse

too much soy has not been proven good or bad yet. Yes, I believe all this soy is causing constipation youre. I would say that to halve this maybe two glasses of soy milk or get rid of the protein drink. I think most dried fruits can help constipation.

I'm not totally sure if soy can cause constipation, but there is such a thing called too much of a good thing. .
Bananas can help constipation.
