Recipe Vanilla yogurt? Does anyone know any good recipes for using a great thing to vanilla yogurt????
I eat vanilla yogurt is delicious.
try to put in strawberries
or granola

Vanilla Yogurt (home):
Half day of preparation 20 min
6 servings
4 cups milk (optional all-skim)
1 / 2 cup dry milk powder
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
4-6 tablespoons sugar (Splenda or honey)
1 / 2 cup of yogurt starter (plain yogurt with active cultures)
1. Set 1 / 2 yogurt starter to warm to room temperature.
2. Heat the milk to almost boiling. (I like to microwave in a glass bowl for 5 minutes on high, then 2 minutes on average) Cool the milk (a "lukewarm" / bath temperature of babies.) (Cold water bath works good) Add dry milk, vanilla and sweetener of your choice.
3. Mix well.
4. Add the yogurt starter. (Do not mix whip, but very good!).
5. "Cook" the yogurt using your preferred method and time (in fact a stronger, more tart yogurt. I like to cook for about 12 hours) Chill 4 hours before eating.
